St Vincent De Paul Long-Term Care Facility – Gas detection
St Vincent de Paul Long Term Care Facility opened its doors to client in 1892. It is Malta’s largest long-term care facility and aims to be a centre of excellence in client-focused care through innovation practices and specialised geriatric care for highly dependent persons with complex needs.
St Vincent De Paul recently introduced a gas detection system in an oxygen cylinder storage area. The system detects increases in oxygen levels should any gas cylinders leak. This can then be connected to a BMS system, or even include sounders/beacons to alarm staff of increasing oxygen levels which would increase the risk of fires spreading. This particular system has been equipped with an autodialler that informs our clients of up to 4 different alarm states.
